Daniel Longuepee, MScPT, BPHE

  • Physiotherapist
  • Bike Fitter
  • Outdoor Enthusiast

After graduating from the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at Queen’s University, Dan worked in northern Ontario where he worked as a physiotherapist while coaching strength and conditioning for adaptive and masters athletes. His previous education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Health and Education (Honours in Health Promotion) at Laurentian University. During his time at Laurentian, he worked closely with the varsity Cross Country and Track athletes for 4 years. Working with high-level athletes is what sparked his interest in pre-habilitation and the importance of reducing the risk of injury while training.

He takes a similar approach with his patients and emphasizes an active approach to recovery that takes into consideration your current abilities, lifestyle, and most importantly your specific goals. He believes that physical therapy helps people build the capacity and the confidence to move better with individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and, more importantly, meaningful.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time training in the gym, road/gravel cycling, snowboarding, white water canoeing and camping.
